By providing innovative and energy-efficient drive technology, BEKUM offers its customers the optimal prerequisites for high-performance production of industrial blow-moulded articles, in particular for canisters ranging from 10 l to 35 l and small drums up to 60 l. For the fully automated single-station production of 20 l lightweight canisters, the output rate was increased to up to 240 pcs./hour by means of an external cooling station and punching station. Because no energy is required to maintain the clamping pressure, energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved on automated blow-moulding machines compared to classic, hydraulic blow-moulding systems. The fully automated adaptation to mould thicknesses reduces the set-up time, along with the manual adjustment times otherwise usual on the market.
